  • Harper Haus Interiors is looking for an experienced and driven interior designer to join their team.

    This individual will work directly with our Creative Director to create, execute and communicate intentional and beautiful high-end residential designs true to our unique Harper Haus aesthetic.

    Responsibilities:

    — Lead and manage multiple projects at once.

    — Manage project designs from architectural review through installment; including but not limited to CAD drawings, site visits, sourcing, procurement, scheduling, and negotiating. 

    — Creating and presenting design presentation boards and deliverables, including mood boards, CAD drawings, FFE material schedules, and lighting plans. 

    — Designing thoughtful, functional, and intentional spaces based on client needs while maintaining the Harper Haus aesthetic. 

    — Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations and communication. 

    — Head communication with the corresponding construction team. 

    — Guiding the growth of Junior Designers and Design Assistants while helping manage their workload while acting as mentor. 

    — Taking ownership of all project reviews with the Creative Director, and all resulting revisions.

    — Leading the team in execution of designs and continued management to achieve seamless completion of project and timely execution.

    Qualifications:

    — 4+ years of Interior Design Experience, preferably from a design specific firm.

    — Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design

    — Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office + Google Workspace

    — Intimate knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, and specifications.

    — Knowledge of design requirements, construction methods and materials for high end residential environments.

    — Superior ability to work in a team setting and achieve results through collaboration and sharing

    — Proven ability to self-manage, prioritize, and demonstrate a high-level of professional maturity

    — Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

    — Advanced customer service skills to diplomatically communicate with clients, builders, and vendors to resolve issues

    — Excellent attention to detail

    — Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, influence and inspire yourself and others

    — Excellent time management skills

    — Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment

    — Knowledge of IVY a plus.
